Kat Laskey doesn’t just style hair and apply makeup as a career, it is also her hobby and passion. The ability to change a ‘plain Jane’ into a goddess has captivated her since childhood. While working toward a B.F.A. at Florida International University, she took a stage makeup class and discovered the transformative power that makeup can have to awaken a theatrical performance, and has been in the industry ever since. Kat spent 3 years as a full-time artist for M.A.C., worked as a professional makeup artist for film, print, music videos, runway, commercials, and is currently the cover makeup artist for "Frontiers" magazine. She received additional training at Joe Blasco Academy, The Powder Group Workshops, Temptu Airbrush, and from Emmy award winning makeup artist Dean Jones. With a specialty in enhancing and illuminating the skin to perfection, there is nothing she loves more than seeing beauty and character come alive.
