A new makeup artist and hair assistant has been added to the New York City Smart & Chic team -Scarlet Carbuccia was first inspired and intrigued by the everyday beauty regimen of the women in her family. In her teens, she started doing hair and makeup for her friends and family members, and by 2005 was attending the Makeup Designory in Soho, NY. After receiving a certificate in Beauty Artistry, she worked for various cosmetics companies including M.A.C. and Nars, and was the makeup artist for numerous fashion shows and events around New York City. A fluent Spanish speaker, Scarlet has a passion for art and is an expert at applying false eye-lashes.
